Seas are rough, the winds are high and gusty, and the ferries can't sail, however, it all adds to the beauty of island life. Here on Cape the sky is blue and filled with white clouds and the sea is turbulent with white foam; beautiful to behold. The fire is glowing in the hearth and we have plenty of books in for the winter. Full moon on Saturday.

Weather in South Harbour, Cape Clear: Big swell. Big waves beating over the harbour walls. Sea mist sweeping across the harbour. Gorgeous to watch and it is still quite warm here.
